So, i decide to go in TS and play the deepstack tourneys. The last time i was here, i didn't really get anything going, and really didn't feel that confident about how i played. Yesterday was a totally different thing. I started off the day on a table where pretty much nothing happen for the first 2 hours. I got up to 12K, then back down to 10K, and stayed pretty steady for a while. I really didn't pick up anyhands. This is the only interesting one in the early levels.
Blinds 50 - 100, UTG limps(old man that limps alot), other guy limps, i look down at 4c 6c on the button, and limp, blinds limp. Flop comes 2d 4d 5c. Goes check check, UTG bets 200. Gets to me and I call, the rest fold. Turn 2s, He bets 200 again, so i call. River is 3d and he bets 500. I actually thought about this for abit, i fealt i had the best hand, but i guess he could do that with somekind of flush draw. On top of that, he's probably not calling me with anything i beat, i decide to call. He shows Ah 5h.
Now i get moved to another table and i haven't played a hand in about 5 rotations. I called once in the blinds with 66 after a raise and 3 callers. mucked the flop.
This hand comes up, 100 - 200 blinds, 25 ante. Early position raiser, tight player raises to 550, folds to me in the SB, and i call with 8h 8d. Guy in the big blind(steaming big time) calls. Flops comes out 7d 4d 2d. Now theres the about 1700 in the pot, and i want to find out if the preflop raiser has a big pair, so i bet 975, if i get raised by preflop raiser, i'm folding. BB shoves for 1000 more, so i obv call. He shows 7c 5d. In pretty good shape with a bigger pair and a bigger flush draw. Turn 7. River 3s. He wins. So now i'm down to 7K and i decide, if i wanna go deep in this, i gotta start making some moves because i'm not picking up hands.
The player to my right is a sick online player Agame18, or something like that. I know who he is, but he has no idea i know who he is. I use this to my advantage and i know he's going to be stealing blinds. Next hand is dealt and its folded to him, he makes it 550 to go, i said to myself, i'm re-raising here with any2 because i haven't raised a pot for like 1.5 hours and he has to respect me and he had been folding to re raises pre. I look down at Qh 8d and i make it 1325 to go. He snap folds, and i pick up the 1000 extra that i lost against the steaming guy.
Next rotation, still the same blinds, a guy thats been raising alot and seems to be kinda nervous, maybe playing a little out of his bankroll makes it 600, a guy thats been calling alot calls and the player on the button, if he had a big hand would raise there all the time, from what i had seen. I had like 8500 in chips and I decided that i'm chipping up in this spot, picking up 2000 chips. I look down at Ad Jh which makes it a little easier, i make it 2900 total. They all fold and the initial raiser says, your hand has to be better then 10 10.
Next hand i play, same guy raises to 600 UTG, UTG+1 calls, and i call with Kd Qd on the button, BB calls also. Flop comes Ah Jc 6s, they all check really quick and i bet 1550 into about 2500 and they all fold. UTG +1 says, "worst played Kings ever"
Now i've been raising maybe once or twice by rotation and pretty much taking it down preflop, and just making a follow up bet and winning. I get dealt 5c 6s and the player that raises alot, but doesn't call alot(doesn't really protect his blinds is in BB) so i pick on him and raise to 1125 at 200 - 400 blinds with 50 ante. This time he decides to call. Flop comes out 10c 9s 2h. He check to me, i bet 1775 and he thinks and calls. Turn is Ad. Just by the look on his face, i can tell he doesn't like the card, and i'm thinking he called me with like something like J 9 and he put me on AK, AQ. Now the pot is about 6000 and he checks nad i bet 3800. He folds and very frustrated.
The next hand i played, tight player raises 3 spots from the blinds to 1100 (same blinds as previous hand) same player that was calling alot before calls again, and i look down at Qc Jc in the BB and call 700 more. Flop comes Ah Ad 5c. Now, i know that i might want to take a stab on this pot on the turn if no1 bets the flop. I take about 5 seconds shuffling my chips and decide to check my Ace(thats what i want to make them think). They both check pretty quick. Turn is 7h. I fire out 1350 into the pot of about 3800 and they both fold.
Next hand i played, well didn't really play it, but i've been giving away my blinds pretty easy, because i don't really need to get too involved because i'm getting away with everything at this table. Even though, i would consider 3 players, really good players. So a good player raises my BB for like hte 3rd rotation in a row. Blinds 250 - 500, 75 ante. He hasn't really been re raised at all when raising blinds of people, he raises 1500, and i look down at Js 5c and decide to take a stand and stop him from raising my blind, i raise to 4100 and he folds right away.
I don'T know if you noticed, but i showed 1 hand during this whole time, and built my stack from 7K to 24K without showdown, and without really making a hand. Now i know this doesn't always work out, but i must say it fealt pretty good to be in this spot without showing down anything.
The next hand i played, is when the BB is sitting out, at 300- 600 blinds, 75 ante. I'm UTG, and i raised to 1600 with Ad 9d. I know i might get played back at, but i'm taking 1675 if i get lucky and no1 picks up anything. It gets to a shorter stack and he thinks for abit, a few seconds and shoves it in. It folds back to me, my read on him when he shoved was that he wasn't very strong, and that he was making the shove light because the BB was sitting out and he probably identified that i was stealing alot. So the pot is 1675 + 1600 + 1600 ... roughly 4900 and he shoves for 7000 more. I know A 9 is not a big hand here, but from my read, i didn't think he would of even thought about shoving with AK AQ. I just don't think he has me dominated. He would obv snap shove with 9's and up. I'm thinking he probably has something like KQ or a small pair.(I just had a very stong gut feeling) So i call, and he show 55. I win the race and i'm up to about 34000.
The very next hand, a tight player that hasn't raised in Ages raises to 1600 and i look down at Ad Qd. Now, i'm never folding this for 1000 more in the BB. He has about 8000 behind. I start thinking of the posibilities and decide to raise it up, i know i'm pricing myself in, i'm just hoping he has something like JJ and lower, or just using his image to fold(i actually fealt that i was beat, but couldn't put myself to folding AQ preflop, this is probably the only hand of the day where i really didn't feel comfortable with my play, i wish i would have folded preflop, but that would just be too sick.)He goes all in and show QQ, flop is Jc 8d 7d. Now that i see this flop, theres no doubt in my mind that i was putting this guy all in on the flop, when i have 2 overcards to the board with a flush draw. I missed and he doubles, and i'm right back down to 24 000 ish.
Pretty soon after, the table breaks and i get moved into Fishbones old seat where he just busted about 5 minutes ago.
He talks to me about the players at the table, so that i knew what was going on when i sat down. I sit down, and i put this info to use right away. I pick up Kc Jd in the cut off and make is 2100 at 400 - 800 blinds, 100 ante. SB calls and the rest fold. The flop is Ks 9d 2d. He leads for 3000 and has 4775 behind. Adam had just told me that he had never seen this player lead without having it. Now i go in the tank and try to figure out if this guy would flat call with AK or KQ in that spot. He's an old man, and i know they don't really raise that much with AK, so after being in the tank for a minute or so, i said "sorry guys, this is a big lay down" and i showed my K J and everyone just lost their minds when the old man showed AK. I guess he wanted to tell me i was sick. After having the info i had though, i'm not that sick.
The next hand, a lady joins the table, and usually a lady is pretty tight, and i pick up XX UTG + 1, and i make it 2100. The player with the big stack at the table, insta raises to 6100 without really thinking about it. He looked weak to me, and Adam told me that this guy, if he notices you raise alot, will re raise you. I put all this info together, and it got back to me and I shoved it all in. Now the pot, with his 6100, my 6100 and the antes and blinds is about 14400 and i'm pushing 17900 more for him to call. I knew that i had enough to not give him 2 to 1. He goes in the tank and finally tosses 20 000 in the pot(he had about 30 000 more left behind) while turning his head. I said, "i really thought you were re raising me weak" he responds "i was", then i said, "do you have a pair", he says "no", so i said, well, coin flip, he shows 6s 7s. I show 3 3. I think this was a rediculous call. Board comes out 8 10 J, so he has 2 overs with the gut shot, turn is 7. Im now looking for the 9 to chop, but i mise.
GG me. I really think i played really really good. The hands that i posted here are pretty much everything i played. I didn't post a hand when i raise with K 9 and hit a K Q J flop and get the auto fold on the follow up bet. I think thats almost the only flop i hit.
This day was a little crazy, i didn't pick up AK once, i had KK early and i took the blinds at 25 -50, did the same thing with QQ at same blind level. My biggest pair was 88 for the rest of the day, and i limped once with 55 and folded after missed flop. I finish about 70th out of about 240 peoples. This is just to say that i'm really confident in my game at this point, and can't wait to get back on the tables.
The 2nd tournament last about 20 minutes for me when i couldn'T lay down a big hand like a donkey.
UTG makes it 150 at the FIRST blind level, i wake up with Kc Kh, and make it 400 to go, and UTG calls. Flop comes Kd Qs 9c, He checks, i bet 550 into 875, he makes it 1550. Now at this point, i say to myself, does he raise J 10 UTG, and would he check raise with the absolute nuts on a rainbow board. May i remind you, we are playing 5 handed. So i call the 1000 more. Turn is 7c. He bets 2500. I think for abit. I say to myself, it looks more and more like he has the straight, but he could have like KQ or 99 and be playing it like that. Who knows, he could have QQ and just flatted there preflop. I say to myself, well, if he has it, he has it. If he doesn't, i'll let him bet on the river. I call, river is 6s. He goes all in for 6000, well i have 5500 left out of my 10 000 starting stack. I question myself if he would do that with with the staight, or would he bet like 2500 - 3000 just to make sure i call. I call, and he shows Jd 10d. I'm done.
GG me ... let me know what you think of that last one. Kinda weird one. I must say that my gut was telling me to fold, but i said to myself, if he doesn't have it, i have a big stack early and i can take advantage and play aggresive and probably build a nice stack early instead of grinding my stack up for hours and busting around 9 hours of playing and not cashing. Not that it would happen, but chances are, thats going to happen since theres only 15 peoples cashing out of 170. On the bright side, i finished in 1rst, 170 out of 170. HAHAHAH
Until next time ...

I love poker
Since my last post, i've basically bubbled all the big tournaments i've played. I finished like within 50 from the money in all the big tournaments, Ftops, the sunday Mil, and sunday tourneys on FT. Cost me about 2K in all of those. I feel like i've gotten too tight as of late and too pasive. I'm working on being back to my aggresive game.
On a positive note, i played a tournament at Lonestar - 20$ buy in with a rebuy. I ended up not rebuying. I actually ended winning the 24 man tournament for about 300$ and chopping the Last longer bet.
I fealt good the whole time, and alot of those players had no clue how to play a tournament. My table was just limping like everyhand. I got a couple funny/interesting hands that came up.
We are 7 handed, blinds 100 - 200, Utg limps, next guy limps, Mike limps, i limp with 22, button is 2700 deep and makes it 1200 to go, blinds fold and UTG limper calls, rest fold. The flop comes 7d 4d 2d, UTG fires 1000 into pot of about 3100, Button shoves for 700 ... yes 700 more and UTG folds Qs Qc face up. The button shows As 10c. Now this hand is just funny, not only for what happen, but for what would have happen if the Button limps instead of raising. Hands were :
SB Kd 5d
BB : 4 4
UTG: Q Q
UTG +1 : ??
Mike : 8d 9d
Me : 2 2
If we limp, theres 2 people who flop set, and 2 people that flop flushes. And if QQ would of had a diamond, i'm sure it could have been a pretty crazy pot, since everyone just always calls. To finish this hand, we ran the turn and river and the cards were 7 4 2 7 7. Which made QQ the winner. The eventual winner of the hand was the only player to not have a pair or better.
I laid one of the sickest beats i've ever put on someone. I raise in Early position with Ad Qh to 1550 at 300 - 600 blinds. Player to my left calls and leaves himself with about 3500. Now i only know a couple players in this tournament that can play, and i honnestly give this guy like any pair or any Ace to call there(thats just how bad its been). So theres 4000 in the pot, and i have about 12 000 left. Flop comes Kc 2d 5s. I just decide to shove and judging by the players all night, he's going to fold alot of hands. Well, for some odd reason, he decides to call with KK. My response was "Well, i got chance", Turn 10s. I then proceded to say "Jack me" and the river brought a Jack. LOL about a 3% chance of me winning that.
I basically just took control of the tournament from that point on. I would raise 50% of hands and took down most pots right there. Eventually, they would shove but they would be so short that i had to gamble with my 7 2 off and obv would hit 2 pairs. So yeah, was pretty much a cake walk. I really have to get back into the live game, i made so many mistakes with the chips and raise sizes because i couldn'T get used to the chip value.(didn't help that the genius running the thing decided to have white and purple chips as 1000 chips)
I ran really good and busted probably 10 - 12 peoples out of 24. (busted 7 of 8 on the FT)
I made one call, i'm not too sure what i think about it, but it worked out. We are 3 handed, blinds 1500-3000 and button folds, SB(he seemed to be a poker player and knew what he was doing) completes and i check with 9d 5d. Flop is Jc Jd 5c, he checks, and i bet 4000 and he shoved for 13700 more. now theres 14000 in the pot. I was trying to figure out what he had. I don't think he would go all in with the Jack because he would wanna let me bet again on the turn. I couldn't put him on medium PP because i'm pretty sure he raises those. He could have a huge pair, like AA or KK maybe even QQ. He could also have something A, K high which i would assume is probably good there most of the time. He could also have picked up a flush draw or even have a 5 also. I came to the conclusion that he was making a move on me and that he thought i had air. I had been stealing so many pots in that nature that i thought it justified me calling there. If i called, i had about 40 K left in chips, that would put us about even, but if i'm good, i basically win because the other player has only about 10K left. I called and he tabled 22. He said he tried to trap me preflop. I'm not too sure what to think about the play. I know i was raising alot, but i was taking flops out of the big blind alot when i had nothing. For his play to work, i have to raise preflop, but not a large amount so that i would be priced in. I won the hand, and won the next hand for the win.
Was only a 350$ win. But it still fealt kinda good even though it was a pretty weak feild.
That is all .... GG

Staying pretty even
So, its been a while since i last posted. Not much has happen really. I haven't been playing as much. I've been kinda busy with alot of things and school and work.
I actually haven't really had anything big happen in a while. Just made an FT in a 109$ 6 max on FTP last week or somethign and made like over 3K. I made another FT on Friday/Saturday, 26$ buy in on FTP. I got 4th for like 700$. The nice part is that when we were down to about 50 players, i had 416 in chips and the blinds were 200 - 400. I got it in with 6s 3s and floped open ended with a flush draw and hit the straight for the comeback. Yada yada yada .... 20 minutes later, i was chipleader.
I also played a couple FTOPS events. I played the 216$ 6 max one. I didn't really ever get anything going. I busted with a missed draw and a guy made a sick call on me. I had Ks Qs, J 10 3 with 1 spade. Check, check, turn was 6s and i check raised him and he called. River was a blank, and i shoved and i got called by 55.
Played the 1K with Krissy and we got past about half the field. Lost a pot because of the timebank on FT, we were about to bet but we were forced to check because we had used all our time to make a decision. We missed with Ks Qs .... lol ... thats the same hand as the other FTOPS tourney, i just noticed now. Flop was As 10h 3s. We busted later with about 10 BBs. We shoved with J 4 after the UTG limped(he limped like everyhand), and everyone else folded and we were in the SB. We were picking up around 1100 chips when we had 3300 total. He had AK and we didn't hold. GG
Besides that, i've been trying to get back to playing lower buy ins. I think i need to practice abit with bigger feilds and deeper stacks because i feel out of place when i get deep in the tournaments with like 1000+ peoples. I will need to get this down if i wanna go deep in SM again.
I'm thinking of going to TS for the Deepstack. I'm pretty sure i'll be there for most of the tournaments, probably only going to play one or 2 of them, again, depending on how i'm doing and feeling with my game during the week. I really wanna play cash games. I feel that i've been playing really good, but constantly having losing sessions.
Anyways, i'm out ... back to Guitar HERO 3

Just a little bit of 5 - 5NL
So after bowling, i decide to go play some poker. I'm feeling pretty good about my cash game play since Vegas and was looking forward to starting a session. Here's a couple hands, i think i played decent, i made a couple mistakes, but overall pretty good .... i think.
The first hand i played, it's folded around to me on the button and i have As Jc. I make it 20$ to go and both blinds call. Flop comes Jd 8d 6s. They check to me, with 60$ in the pot, i make it 35$ and they both call again. Turn is a Jh, its checked to me again, with about 165$ in the pot, i bet 90$, the SB calls and the BB folds. The river is 8h. He checks blind actually, and then i put him all in for 90$. He thinks for abit and calls, shows 10 10.
The next hand i played was Ah 8h when the pot was raised to 15$ after i limped in. The flop comes out 4s 5c 8s. The UTG limper bets 20$ into a pot of about 75$, I call, button calls, and BB calls. Turn is 8c. The UTG bets 80$ into pot of 155$ and i decided that i want to isolate so i make it 180$. Both players fold, UTG thinks and then goes all in. Now i know that i'm like something like 3.2 to 1 if he flopped a straight. The thing is, i can see this player just shoving there with like any 8, maybe 8 9 or something like that. I have the nut kicker with my A8. So now theres something like 515$ in the pot, and I have 300$ behind and he has me covered. So making the pot 815$. I'm getting like 2.7 to 1 (something like that). I know that most of the time, he has 6 7 there, but he could have 8X alot of times there too. I don't think he would play a flopped set like that either. He would probably play it a little slower with the boat. I decide that for the amount of times i will be favorite, i gotta call there with 2.7 to 1, i call, he shows 6 7, i don't improve.
So I limp in in CU with 6h 7h. We are 4 handed so 20$ in pot. The flop comes As 2c 7s. They all check to me, and i bet 15$, the SB makes it 30$ and i call. I'm basically giving up on this hand if he fires another bet and i mise, but i just wanted to see what he was doing on the turn. The turn is a 7d. He now checks, so my first instinc is that he had like A, but could he have A 7 or A 2. If he had A 7 ... gg me. I decide that i'm ahead and that i'm going to bet for value. I bet 50$ into a 80$ pot and he calls looking like he really hated the turn. The river was a Jh. He checks again, now the pot 180$. I don't know what he's calling with, i had a gut feeling that i should maybe check incase he had like 22 or A 7. But thats 2 hands, i think i got to bet for value. Plus i can make it look like i missed my flush. I bet 100$, he snaps with A 2.
Now i built back some chips after that hand. Then this pretty crazy hand happen. Heres the situation, the player on the button has been playing position alot, raising alot from button and playing it aggresively. A bunch of people limp, and what do you know, he makes it 30$ on the button, i call in the BB with QQ. Everyone else folds. The flop is 9s 3s 4c. Pretty nice flop, now i know he's going to follow up bet, so i check and he bets 40$ into a pot of like 85$. I decide to make it 125$. He then procedes to make it 225$. I start thinking of the hand, if has a set, he will most likely flat there. If he picked up AA or KK when i'm pretty sure he would play the hand the same way if he had like A 9, then i'm just unlucky. I'm pretty sure i'm ahead, but i don't want a Spade or A to come on the turn and scare me. So i decide to make my hand look pretty strong, I make it 475$ total with 275$ left behind. He thinks for a while, but it seemed like he knew he was folding, seemed like just acting to me and folded.
Now i'm back to even, maybe even up a little bit.
I pick up AK in middle position and raise to 25$, Button calls, and 2 blinds call. Flop comes Kc Kd Jh. Thats a pretty sick flop. They check to me, and i bet 55$, the button makes it 155$. At this point, i'm 100% he doesn't have JJ(i've seen him play it, and he re raised pre with it) and from what i know about him, he wouldn't raise there in case someone had Q 10 behind and he would like to give them odds on that draw. Its folded around to me, and i'm pretty sure he has a K, so i decide that i will just flat and then let him bet the turn, and i will put him in. So i flat, Turn is a 4h. Thats a really good card i think. Now i check, and he checks behind. I'm really confused at this point. The river is 3d. I'm pretty sure he has a K, and if he doesn't he can't call anything without it in my mind, and he can't have hit those kickers. So its either he has nothing or a K with a worst kicker then me. I check, he goes all in for 300$ and i call. He shows K 3. I don't know if i should bet the turn or river here, i know i'm never folding with the cards that came out, the question is, does he fold to a bet on the turn ... i don't think so. I couldn't do anything about it.
I raise in late position after a really tight player limps ahead with Qh 10h and the only player that calls is that tight player. The flop comes 9h 9c 8d. He checks, then i check behind. Turn is 7h. He now comes out betting 30$ into pot of about 60$. I'm pretty sure he's not that strong and maybe just taking a stab at it. Plus i just picked up a monster draw on the turn, so i make it 80$ to go. He class. River is Qc. Not a horrible card, he checks, and i put him on somekind of pair on the board, so i bet 80$, he calls and shows A 8.
I pick up Ks 10s in the cut off and make it 25$ to go.(yes, i'm raising with alot more hands now in cash games) I get 1 caller by the BB. Flop comes out 2h 3c 4c. He checks and i bet 35$ in pot of about 60$, he calls, Turn is 5d. Now i'm pretty sure he had something like 4 5 for some reason, and i know he's going to give me an ace, so i bet 80$ into 130$. Trying to make it look like value, now he calls, and i'm really confused, i don't think he has A, but what can he be calling with. Could he have like 4 6 or something, can called with top with gut shot. Now i have 150$ left, River is Jd. He checks, I the might be calling me with 4 5, or have a bigger straight, so i chicken out of the bet and check, he shows Kc 5c.
I bust in nice fashion, i got K 9 in the blinds, flop K K 3. I check, guy bets 25 into pot of 25, i call. Turn is 7, I check, he bets 55$, i call. River is 8. Now i was scared of my kicker the whole way, the player i'm playing against is pretty bad, he usually goes all in when he hits something. Anyways, i got 95$ left, he checks, now the only real kickers i could beat were now on the board, i wanted to fold, i actually wanted to fold on the turn because i thought he had a better K. I called anyways,( Daniel Negreanu stylz, make perfect read and still call when you think your behind) He shows me K 7 for full house. I was like, great, i make perfect read, and of course i don't trust it.
Anyways, i'm out ... GG LIFE
The first hand i played, it's folded around to me on the button and i have As Jc.
On a little Rush
So, the last time i posted was sometime last week and i just won the 109 on Stars. On wednesday night, i also made the FT in taht tournament. I got 6th place for 2500$. I think i played pretty good all tournament but I made a stupid move to finish off the tournament. I got fustrated at this player re raising me all the time, and stop and go'd him with KJ off after he repoped me preflop. Flop came A high and he had AJ. GG me.
I didn't really play all weekend except on sunday night, when i played the 2am tournament on full tilt for 75$, and made it to the FT. I played so sick on the FT. I was totally dominating and made one of the sickest calls i've ever made on an FT.
Earlier on the FT, this player flopped an open ended draw and he just check called my bets and finally, i had just a pair, and he mentionned that he should have bet his draw. Then this happen. I fealt very strongly that he had a draw. ... http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/279296
After that hand, i battled back winning everypot without showing down a hand, just stealing and re stealing. I eventually got back in the chip lead. I lost a race after raising from the button and SB shoving and i'm priced in to call with A 7. He had 66. I flopped an Ace but he also flopped a 6.
I later got crippled when the same player from the J 8 vs J 9 hand shoves from the button with 69 and i wake up with JJ and i end up losing the hand. I finish 6th for 1000$.
The very next night, i made the FT in a 75$ tournament on Full Tilt again. This one, i got a really good run of cards and i played them pretty well. I Took that one down for just a little over 4K.
The next night after that, i played the 55$ - 50K Guar. on Full tilt and made the FT again. I got to the final table and had a pretty decent stack until i ran into this. I had J 5 in the BB and button limped and so did the SB. The blinds were like 5 -10K so the pot was around 40K Flop came Jh 9h 5d. The open shoved for 120K and i had 170K left. I called and he had J 9. I couldn't ever fold that hand in that spot.
Then i got pretty lucky a couple times to double up. Won a couple races and played some good poker. I finally had my big moment when i got my stack up to about 400K which was second in chips and i lost a race with AK vs 99. Again, i flopped A, but he flopped 9. I eventually got it all in a couple hands later with A 5 while we were 4 handed and went up against 99 again, after seeing the 9 on the flop i was done.
This one was good for another 3100$.
Overall, I had about 2500$ online 2 weeks ago, i know have about 14 000$. I'm going to try to get into a couple higher buy in tournaments and try to get a big score. Fishbones Stylz.
Wish me luck.

109 MTT win for 10K
So my online roll is looking really bad. After going on tilt and losing a bunch in 5-10NL on full tilt. My roll went from just under 9K to 3K and i have nothing left on Stars. I just got back from Golf with Adam and Matt and AK301 decides to put me in some tournaments that night. They bought me into 5 tournaments and i cashed in 3 of them, including the 162$, the 11R and my 109$ win. The one thing that i haven't been doing since i got back from Vegas, is that i haven't changed back from my cash game mode where i like to see alot of flops.
Theres a request for some hands so i will post some.
I did pick up many hands and lost a bunch in one hand early. Won alot back with this http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275478
I won a couple races and my stack was up to about 7K in a hurry.
This guy was a super aggresive player after the flop. After seeing his hand, i should have raised on the flop. But i decided to just call, in case he had AK, and i was pretty sure he would fire the turn regardless of what came out. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275483
I just really thought he had JJ or 10 10 here. Usually id just call if there wasn't clubs on the board, but i decide to shove just incase he had a club. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275488
Just in case he was floating on the flop, i gave him a chance to commit more chips with maybe not having anything. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275490
I lost about 20K in this pot, not much i can do after trying to steal from a tight BB. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275493
I then had a couple hands that i raised to steal blinds with A 10 and K Q and follow up betting and the players shoved and lost a bunch of chips and then just got blinded down.
I got some Miracle hands http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275494
I just thought he missed the flop with his high cards and decided to float and see what he does on the turn. Worked out. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275496
This hand, the Chipleader was super aggresive and was playing alot of pots. I just wanted him to call my bet pre and i was pretty much shoving any flop. Got lucky. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275498
This was a big hand, i thought i had the best hand all the way. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275500
These hands were close together, and basically won it for me. On the first one, we didn't think he had a flush draw, figured it was either a 4 or nothing. We still bet the river for extra value. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/275501
Thats about it. I busted him a couple hands later. I was pretty much shoving with any2 decent cards. Almost busted him with Jd 7d. Would have been a picture perfect finish.
I'm really happy with how i played. It also really helps to pick up AA like 5 times and have them hold everytime. Wish i could run this good all the time.

Vegas Trip
Well, as you now know, i went to Vegas for a week. I fealt really excited about going to have fun with the guys and to play some poker. Before going, i was running pretty bad and started to play not so good online. I was going to Vegas to play some live poker. I think i'm a better player live then online. I could be wrong, but i think i play better live.
So lets start the week where it started, in the Bellagio Poker room, playing some 2 -5 NL. Well, when you say that you are running bad, that was exactly what it was. I played a 4 hour session, and the best hand i saw was A 10. I did not pick up a pair, so kinda card dead. Mind you, i was flopping some huge hands. On 2 occasions, i flopped an open ended straight flush draw. I played one aggresive as it was a heads up, i lost a bunch of chips when the player went all in on the turn and i coudln't call. He was very solid. The hand was Qc 10c vs his K J. The other occasion, i wasn't going to try to play it really aggresive because it was a 6 way pot and at that point, i wasn't too confident in my draws. Turns out some1 flopped top set for the nuts, so it was a good time to wait to hit. Then a bunch of hand where i would have gotten paid off. I kept flopped open ended straight draws with rags like 5 2 and 4 7 , 6 8 on rainbow boards in like 7 way pots where the pot would be around 250 - 300$ after we all called a 30$ bet on the flop. After all those missed draws, i was playing amazing, picking up on weakness and betting with nothing, when i say nothing ,, i mean nothing, like 56 on a A 10 8 board. Just making a move and grinding it out.
My Session finished with a great hand. We had the straddle going at the table, and everyone limped in, and a pretty solid player makes it 50 to go and i have 4s 5s. 2 people called the 40 more, so now theres about 220 in the pot and its costing me 40 to call. The only thing i didn't like about this was that i only had 300 left after i made the call. 1 other person called behind but i still had position since the BB called. Flop came As 2s 8c, BB checks, preflop raiser bets 100, folded around to me, I know i'm shoving, i take a couple seconds and shove it in. He snap calls and shows AA. i catch runing 2 pairs and lose my first 700 or the trip.
Next day is pretty much the same story all over again. This time, we go play at Ceasers. The 2 -5 game has no cap and there was some big stacks there. I still only bought in for 400$. I just feel comfortable with 400$, its not too much and its not too short. I've been card. I get blinded away.
I raise in the cut off after a couple limpers with 6c 9c, i make it 30 total. I get 2 calls. Pot is about 105. Flop comes Qc Jc 8s. Checked to me, i bet 45$, player on the button calls. Turn is 5d. So now i pick up a pretty big draw, 7 10 or club and im probably good. I bet out 95$ on the turn. He thinks for about and calls. River is a blank. I bet out 125$. I tried to make it look like i really wanted a call, i had 200 behind. He calls and i just mucked. I played that hand awesome.
I pick up about 100 chips later when i pick up A 4 off(i never play that) and limp in, flop is 3 5 7 giving me a double gut. I bet 20 on flop, 1 call. Turn is 6 .. player bets 40$. I'm pretty sure he has a pair, and i think he will probably bet the river. River is a 7 he checks, i bet 90, Hes all pist because his 2 pair got counterfitted .... I play good and run even better.
I pick up AK suited on the button, raise to 25. Player in SB shoves for 160$. Gets around to me, i call because i don't think he has AA or KK. We show, he has QQ. The door card is an A, but then Q also on the flop. Oh yeah ... another Q comes on the river making the guy Quads and a high hand jackpot, he made 150$ more with that. After that, i donated my last 80$. I should have just left. Was just not feeling it.
Next day i played some 1 -3 at Ceasers before the tournament started. Was playing pretty good. This is a big hand, i'm in BB with 88, UTG makes it 15 to go. 3 people call behind and i call. Flop is Qc 10d 8c. I'm only 160$ deep so this makes this hand hard to play. UTG bets 25, 2 guys call, and i decide if i shove its going to be too much to get action, if they have flush draw or straight already, i'm pretty much going broke here. I make it 50 more to go, the only caller is the UTG. Turn is 6s. Safe card, i shove for 85$ more. He tanks and finally calls. River 9c. He shows A J for straight ... ARRGH
I rebuy. Lose so chips, I pick up AK, i make it 15 to go from the button. I get like 3 callers. Flop comes 6c 6d 7s. Its checked to me, and i bet 35$ and get 1 caller. Turn is Ah. He checks, and i check behind to induce a bluff to make him think i have JJ or something. He bets 40$ and i shove for 60$ more. He tanks and finally folds.
I pick up AK again, i raise to 15 again. I forget how many callers. Flop comes 4 4 2. Its checked around. Turn is A. I bet 15$. A really tight player min raises to 30. At this point, i'm 100% sure i have the best hand, i think he probably has a weaker A. No way he has the 4. He has about 80$ left. I decide to make it 55$ to go. He calls. I just don't want him to his his kicker. River is a J.... scary, but i still put him im for his last 55 and he folds ... i don't know what happen here, he must have put me on a 4 or had nothing. I can't see him folded an Ace there.
Tournament started. I call a 3x raise on the button with K Q. Flop comes K 4 8. He follow up bets 500, and i have 1500 left. I'm pretty sure i have the best hand right now, he needs to have AK but i think he has A Q. All i gotta do is dodge an Ace on the turn. Turn, Ace. He bets 800. I fold and i see a Q when he tosses his hand in. So either he had KQ or AQ. I think i got unlucky there. ( this was like 5 hands into the tournament) Then a guy raises to 300 and i have QQ and i make it 850 to go, he puts me all in and i call, he has AK, K on flop. GG me, not even 10 hands into the tournament.
I played some more cash at the 1 -3 after that. I tried a bluff and i really didnt think he had an ace.
Player raises to 15 pre, like 5 people call including myself with 33 on the button. The flop comes out A 10 4. The preflop raiser bets 20$ into a pot of 75$ and i call on the button because i don't think he would bet like that if he did have an Ace. Turn comes 5. Theres no flush draw on the board. He now bets 25$, i decide that he doesn't have an ace and since everyone else folded, theres for sure not an ace waiting behind, so i make it 55$ more. He really thinks it through and calls and only has 40$ behind. Now i know i can't bluff this guy. River is a blank, he checks and i check behind, he shows A Q.
I put in my last 100$ in a pot where it was raised pre and i check raised all in when i flop a pair and flush draw and missed.
So now i'm down 2100 for the week.
I decided to give one more shot at 5-5 at the Bellagio and said to myself, i'm not bringing money to reload, just going to play this 400 dollars and trying to get something going. At this point, i'm feeling great and ready to put in a good long session.
I get to the table, about 4 hands in, started in the BB, now in the cut off, i limp in with Ac 9c and the BB makes it 20$ more after 2 other people had limped. We go to the flop 3 handed. Theres about 85$ in the pot. Flop comes 9 10 3. Preflop raiser bets 35$, next guy calls and i call, i think the 2nd guy is on a draw and i think the first guy is just doing a follow up bet with AK probably. Turn is another 3. They both check to me and i bet 80$. I think its a weak bet but i think they will both fold, and maybe the guy on the draw might call. Turns out the BB makes it 200 to go. I have 240 left behind and its costing me 120 to call. Now, like the donk that i am, i talk myself into shoving because i know the guy is a good player, and he might think i am on draw, and that he see's that my bet is weak, so thats why he raises me. LOL .... I also didn't like the fact that i would have to play the rest of the session with 240$, so i decided i rather have 0$ then 240$. LOL so i shoved in, the guy actually thought about it for a minute and called with KK. GG me.
I took a full day off from poker and came back the next morning playing a tournament a planet hollywood. The buy in was 60$ and there was 65 players in it. I finally ran good, and took it down for 1000$ and for the first time during the trip, i had a winning day.
I didn'T play for the rest of the day, as we went out to the bars that night. The next day, i busted from that same tournament early trying to bluff a donk ... he had 10's on a K Q 4 5 9 board ... and i had A 9 ... and i ended up going to play a session at the Bellagio.
This was probably the most satisfying session i have played in a really long time. I really didn't pick up any big hands for the first 4 -5 hours, i was just grinding and picking spots to make moves on players that seemed very weak.
Heres one of those hands. I limp in with 6h 4d in the cut off after a few limpers, button calls and SB makes in 20$ more. Everyone folds to me and i call, button calls. Flop comes 6c 7c 8c. SB bets 25$, i call and the button calls. As i'm calling, i see the Sb take a look back at his cards. Turn is 10d. Sb bets 25$, as if he wants to get his draw for cheap. At this point, i'm pretty sure i can get him to fold if i can take control of the hand. This guy has actually been making lay downs, so i know this is a player i can bluff. So i decide to raise 40$ more, i know he's not folding his A or K of clubs, but if the river bricks, i can steal this pot, and maybe i'm going to make the button fold the best hand with a pair of 8's or 7's. Button folded and the Sb called the 40$. River is the 10h. He checks and i bet 100$. I'm not sure what kind of hands he folds there. I'm not sure if i made him fold a hand like JJ with the J of clubs. I might of had the best hand at that point, but maybe the button had us both beat with a pair.
I also played an interesting hand against a pro that joined the table, his name was Tommy Vu(i think tahts how you spell it). The same guy taht raised the other pot from the SB raises 20$ from middle position, Tommy calls and i call in the BB with Qc 10c. Flop comes 6c 7d 9s. I check, preflop raiser bets 30, tommy calls and i call. So now the pot is about 150$. The turn is a Qs. I check, he checks and Tommy bets 140$. Now at this point, i think he has probably something like a straight and flush draw. So i decide to call with my Q and if the straight or spade flush doesn't fill up, i'm betting the river. River comes 6d. I bet out 200$ and he goes in the tank. He says, your flush is good. I guess he meant, my mised flush is good. I guess i might of had the best hand again.
After a couple limpers, i pick up AJ on the button, and i raise to 25$ and i get 3 callers. The pot is now around 115$. Flop comes Qs 10d 5h. Its checked to me, and i bet 45$ and get 2 callers. Turn is 8c. First player to act bets 50$, its folded to me. The pot was about 250$ and he bet 50, so i'm getting 6 to 1, so i call with the double gutter. River is 9c. He checks, the pot is 350$. I just really want to get called so i bet 100$ and he snap calls and says, J is good.
I finished the session up 600$ and i had 2 meals while playing.

BEST CHILI IN THE WORLD AT THE BELLAGIO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The next day, i went to play at ceasers since the guys were going to check out the football games and golf and Tennis on the big screens. I sat down at the table.
After about 1 hour of playing, i played a very interesting hand. UTG raises to 15, next guy calls, i look down at 9d 7d and call, button calls, rest folds. Pot is 65$. Flop comes out Jd 5c 3h. We all check to the player on the button who bets 20$, my instinct is that this player is very weak, the initial raiser calls and i'm putting him on a hand like maybe 88 or something like AK thats trying to hit the turn for cheap. At this point, i'm going to raise to 80$ if it gets to me, but the player to my right makes it 80$. I noticed that this player has been making these kinds of raises when people are weak, or look weak and he's shown down hand like top pair. So on this board i can see him having like J 10 or like Q J. So i decide that he's either making a play or has somekind of J. I decide to represent a set and flat call the 80$ while the other players snap fold their hands. Turn is Ad. He comes out and bets 100$ which to me shows that he is weak and decide to shove all in for 180$ more. He goes in the tank and keeps saying, you either have AJ or a set. He folds KK face up. .... oops on the read. So i decide to show my 9 high so that i can get paid off for the rest of the session.
Next pot i played was a limped pot, i called with Jc 10d on the button. Flop comes out 10c 9c 4d. Blinds check, one of limpers bets 20$ in a pot of like 25$ and i call. Everyone else folds. Turn is 2h. He comes out and bets 35$ and i call. River is a J. Now he decides to check. Now i think he either missed a flush draw, or he has something like A 10 and wants to check call a bet. So i decide to bet out 75$ and he snap calls. I flip my hand over and he starts putting putting chips in the pot. I was really happy with how i played the hand. He was having a hard time putting the chips in and finally got it done and shows 99 for a set of 9's .... i got slow rolled AGAIN. Of course everyone at the table was like ... WTF are you doing putting chips in when you won ???
I played one more big hand. The player on the button was a little bit on tilt, losing a couple big pots. So we decide to have a straddle rotation at the table. A couple people limp in and i call with Kh Qc from Cut off +1. Cut off call, button makes it 50$ to go. BB call, UTG Calls, I obv call 40$ more, and Cut off calls. The pot is around 270$. Flop comes out Kd 10h 7h. Its checked to me, and i bet 125$ and i have 300$ behind. Cut off folds, Button thinks and calls and says, "do you have a set ?" Everyone else folds. The turn is 2d. I check, and he INSTA all in. He has me covered. Now, i don't think he shoves with like set. The player was pretty good, so i would expect him to raise AK, or any set or 2 pairs on the flop since thats a pretty draw heavy board the flop bet was pretty weak and any of those draws would have called for that price. Now he can't have K Q of hearts because i have K of hearts. So i'm guessing he has either somekind of draw or like maybe K J. While i'm thinking, he keeps saying, "a set and your good". That made me think that he really didn't want me to call and that he wasn't very confident with his hand. The pot is 520$ and i decide to call. His face went white when i showed my hand and he says he had QQ. Therefore had 1 out. I hold
I was meeting the guys for dinner at the Paris hotel for the buffet which is awesome by the way.
I went down to the Bellagio to play. I sit down and on fire right away. I pick up a couple small pots that build my stack up to 500$.
A player in middle position raises to 20$, 3 people call and i wake up with AA on the button. This is the first time i pick up AA in all the cash games i played all week. I make it 100$ to go. Only the initial raiser calls. Flop comes out K 5 3 rainbow. He checks, and i bet 150 into pot of about 270$, and he shoves for 200$ more. I call, he shows AK and i hold.
I pick up As Qd in the BB and call a 20$ raise from the button(an old man) and like everyone calls. 5 or 6 players in the pot. Flop comes Qs 8h 4s. I bet out 65$, UTG makes it 200$ after his limp. At this point, i don't think he's that strong and i'm probably going to call. Everyone folds to the old man on the button and he cold calls with 65$ behind. I think he has AA now, so i fold. Turn comes 10d and they go all in for the last 65. They show KK on the button and UTG shows 10s 8s. River A. I would have won the pot.
I pick up As 8s in the SB and its raised to 20$ and the pot is 4 handed. 80$ in the pot. Flop comes 8h 10d 4d. I check, we all check to the really aggresive player and he bets 40$ and i'm the only caller. At this point, i think i have the best hand. I honnestly don't know why i didn't re raise, i was thinking that i wanted him to keep fireing i guess. The turn is Ac. I check and he bets 65$. I decided to re raise to 175$ and he calls. River is Qh and i bet 150$ and he goes all in for 265$ more. At this point, he could have any 2 cards. I decide to call, he shows Jh 9c for a straight. I wish i could have gotten that hand back, would have played it alot different. Would have wanted to be all in on the turn. The way i played it, i should have folded to the river all in.
The next pot i play, i'm about even for the session now, after a couple limpers, i raise to 25$ on the button with Ac Kc and i get 3 callers. 115$ in the pot. The flop is Jc 9d 2h and its checked to me, and i bet 65$. The UTG limper thinks for abit and shoves for 200$ more and its folded to me. Now i start thinking, if he had a set there, he would flat. He wouldn't limp UTG with J 2 or 9 2. I start to think what hands he could be playing like that, and i narrow it down to Q 10, 10 8 and J 9. I decide to gamble here. He shows Q 10. Spikes the 10 on the turn and he holds. I lose the pot after a great call.
That was my week in Vegas, i finish the week down 500$. Overall, i very good trip and happy the way i finished the week and the way that i played.

Playing the best poker of my life ... TS Trip
So i'm in Turning Stone with some friends, as many of you know, and i'm playing the best poker of my life. I'm playing amazing, really in control, I played 2 tournaments and got my chips in behind once or twice in both those tournaments. Both times, the guys were really short stacked and i was getting like 4 to 1 on my money so i wasn't folding anything.
So the first tournament i played was the 325$ + 40$. Right off the bat, i was picking up alot of hands. The bad part was that i was always picking them up in the BB and really early in the tournament with big raises that would make me have to commit around 20% of my stack with JJ in the BB. So i called and lost of bunch of chips that way. After being down to 3000 chips(5000 starting chips) i doubled up with Q high when i flopped a gut shot straight draw with a flush draw and an over card when a guy pushed me in with 7 high with a gut shot. Doubled up and that was one of the only 3 times all tournament that i was all in.
One of the big hands that happen, after picking up a couple hands and getting my stack to around 9K. The cut off raises to 400 in the 75 - 150 blinds. I had Jacks in the SB and i just flatted(BB guy had limped earlier for 150 and folded to a raise to 400) so i was pretty sure he was folding most hands. I just wanted to play this guy post flop. The guy that raised had about 8K in chips and i didn't want to get it all in pre if he had AK and have to win a race. So the flop was K J 7 with 2 diamonds. I checked, he bet 400 again, i made it 1200$ and he called. Turn was K. I decided to bet 1500 to really find out if he had a K. River was a 4. I decided that the best way to make this look like a bluff was to shove, plus i really thought he had a K. So i shoved for my last 6K. He went in the tank and flashed a K. When he did that, i put my head down and tried as hard as i could to look really nervous. He ended up calling and i took down a very nice pot.
I stole some blinds and kept myself in good chip position. I took down this pot that i really liked. So a really weak tight player limps in Cut off +2 for 300(blinds are 150- 300 with 50 ante) next guy calls, button calls, SB calls. I pretty much know that whatever i got, i'm raising this pot, so i look down and find 9s 2s. I raise the pot to 1800 total. I get a call from Cut off + 1, before he called he asked how much i had, so instantly i assume he has a PP(and by the way he played it) Then a really nice flop comes out, its Qd Qh Jd. The pot is around 5K, i came out with a 2200 bet. I know that he can't really do anything in this spot without the Q. He folds and i take down a nice sized pot.
I got moved to a new table, now i got about 21K in chips.
Same blind level, UTG makes it 900, UTG + 1 calls, i pick up 9's in the cut off and call, button calls and SB and BB all call. Flop is Kh 9h 4s. Its checked around to UTG +1, he bets 1K, I knew that if i threw in 1500, i would be obligated to raise, so i put 1500 in and acted as if it were an accident. So i acted all pist and put another 500 in. It was folded around back the initial better and he has me covered and shoves all in, i snap call. He has AA, Bricks turn and river and i got about 47K in chips.
From there on, i just chiped up, stealing blinds.
I picked up 10 7 in the Cut off +1 and i raise. A really aggresive player has been calling alot of my raises on the button, a really solid player. Blinds are at 600 - 1200 and i make it 3350 to go. Button calls, blinds fold. Flop is 8s 9s 5d. I come out betting 5175, and he raises me to 16K total. Now theres around 20K in the pot, plus his 10K raise, so i'm getting 3 to 1, and i got 46K left if i mise and i can just get away from it, but this player has a big stack and i think i can get alot chips if i hit the straight. If he's bluffing, if i hit my straight, i make max, if he has a really big hand, i can make max also. I call, Turn is 5, i check, he checks. River Js. Now this is really a scare card, Theres 40K in the pot, and he could have made that move with spades on that flop, i'm still a little nervous about that, i guess maybe me not betting this makes it a really borderline call, but i decided that i was ready to call a bet on the river after the J. He checked behind and showed 8 9 for 2 pairs. I take down a nice pot.
Maybe one or 2 rotations later, i pick up 66 in the cut off and i raise to 3350, and the same player calls in the SB. Flop comes out 6d 8c 9c. He checks, and again i come out betting 5175. The funny part of this hand, he commented before the hand about me having 10 7. And i said i had it again. He the raises to 17K and i auto shove and he folds. I talk to the player later and said he had A 8.
The next time i played a hand, it was against the eventual winner, GOBOBOY, he raised to 4000 from the cut off, and i re raised from the button with Ac 8d. I know that this player is super aggresive and raises with a wide range of hands from the cut off, plus i can make him fold a couple stronger aces. So i made it 12K to go and he calls. Flop is Jc 6c 3c. So now i flopped the nut flush draw. He checks, with about 28-29K in the pot, i made it 16K and he called. So now i think he has a pretty big hand, i know he's not calling me with air out of position. The turn comes out the 7d. The pot was 60K, he checked, and i had 59K left, i was going to shove it in, but i thought he had a made hand and that he would call so i checked. The river was the 2s and he came out betting 25K, and i folded since i only had A high.
The very next hand, i was counting my chips and stacking them up and i didn't hear that the blinds went up to 1K - 2K. I pick up 99 in the cut off and make the standard raise for the other level, make it 4K. I realized and was pist. The rest of the table asked and said, 'min raise' , i said yes. The SB raises to 15K total. So i started to count my chips, with my 15K and his 15K, + 900 in ante's and 2K in BB, makes the pot just under 33K. I was shoving in 44K more, so i wouldn'T be giving him 2 to 1 odds and he might fold something like AJ, A 10, KQ, KJ. So i decided to shove, the thought for abit and called with AQ. Flop is J 3 5, turn, J, River Q. AH. If i win that pot, i'm in the top 5 in chips with just over 120K in chips, (thats where i was like 2 rotations ago, i was at like 105K) I busted in 26th, overall, still really happy with how i played and this gives me alot of confidence in my live tournament game.
The next day, i played the short handed tournament for 300 + 45. The day started off pretty similar to last time, i got pushed out of pots and lost about 2K early, but grinded back. Then i made a Yves-Call as Gakn29 calls it.
I have to say that i was giving away my BB pretty easy, hadn't re raised or called anyone that raised my BB to this point. Button raises 3x and i call with A5o. Flop is Ad Kh 4c. I check, he bets 500 into 650 pot, i call. At this point, i'm like 95% i have the best hand. Turn is Qc. I check, and he checks behind. Now i'm like 99% i'm best. River Jd. Ugly river, i check, and he comes out betting 1300 into 1450 pot. I go in the tank, and try to think of hands he might have played like that. I personnaly think that if he had anypair on the turn he would have bet it. For some reason, he doesn't look very confident, and i decide to call, he says "good call" and shows 2c 5c.
After that, i made a really nice call, and the more i think about this hand, the more i like the call. Blinds are 75 - 150 with 25 ante. We are still 6 handed and i'm in cut off. UTG call, UTG+1 call, i call with 4h 4c, button folds. SB makes it 700 to go, BB folds, UTG call, UTG +1 folds, and i call. So the pot is 2550. Flop comes 3c 3d Kc. They both check, and at this point, i assume a pair is good, so i bet out 1400. The pre flop raiser is about to fold, but then starts counting his chips and how much he would be raising me, and decides to shove all in. The other player folds and its up to me, its 3600 to call. If i call, i have 2800 left, which isn't in horrible shape, but if i fold, i have 5400, and thats still in good shape to make a move later. But now the pot is 5350 + 3600 making this a chance for me to go up around 14K in chips, which would be in really good shape. I went in the tank and came up to this conclusion. If he has 8's and under preflop, he's probably not going to raise that out of position, he's going to try to hit a set and maybe if he doesn'T hit it, he will come out betting to try to take it down right there. If he has 9's and up, he will come out betting on the flop. Any hand with a K will be betting that flop, so a pair of Kings is out of the question. If he has KK and shoves there, thats just stupid. He seemed like a very solid player(internet player) and he wouldn't make a move like that unless he was like 95% sure i had a 3. I concluded that the only hand that made sense was probably A Q of clubs for the flush draw. Now at this point, its a coin flip from there against that hand, and i'm getting the odds to take that flip. So I decided to gamble, putting him on AQ clubs. Right before i called, i said, "this could look stupid, but i really don'T think you have any of that and i think i'm ahead". I called, and he said "you have K Q" I laughed and said, "no, if i had KQ i would have called faster then that. I just got a pair." He flipped over Ac Qs. Turn was 7c to scare me but river was 2s.
I got into this pot, where i thought i made the right move and me and fishbones discussed this one. A really tight player, raises from the cut off to 750 when the blinds are 100 - 200. I make it 2100 on the button with AA. I have been pushing around this player with raises and re raises. He thinks for a while, he has me covered and he decides to call after thinking. Now the pot is around 4700, and i got about 9K behind. The flop is 7d 2c 3s. The way he called, i thought he was trying to sorta trap me with like KK or QQ or maybe even JJ since my image is pretty crazy. He checks to me, and i shove my 9K in. I overbet the pot so that he would think i have AK and really don't want him to call with his 99 or 10 10 even. He folds. We discussed this hand and concluded that he didn'T have a PP. I talked to this player after the tournament, and he told me that if he would of had 10's and up, he would have played it like that, and he would have called my all in. So i guess, it was a misread on his real hand, but if my read is correct there, i would have made the right play. Also, on the other hand, if i would bet that flop, i would most likely bet around 3000 and he would have to fold, he later said he had something like AQ or KQ.
I busted in about 120th in this tournament, this was my second coinflip in 2 tournaments that went all in preflop, and i got 0 for 2. If i win that pot, i'm around 23K in chips with the average being 14K. I commited myself preflop with AK on the button, and got pushed in by JJ.
Cash games
I then went to play cash games, the first hand i played was raised to 20 by a really loose player and a couple people call, i have Ad Ks on the button and make it 80 to go, i get 2 callers. Flop is Kh 3h 7h. Its checked to me and i shove for 260 and everyone folds.
Couple hands later, i raise with 7d 8d, get a couple callers and a really loose player from the BB re raises to 80(he could be raising with any 2 cards.) I call and 1 other caller. Flop comes 7h 5h 4d. He bets 175, i shove for 450 and he calls with As Ac. Turn is 9h, river is 8h.
This hand is pretty interesting. A bunch of people limp, and i limp on the button with 6s 2s, SB makes it 40 to go, 1 person calls and i call on the button.(this player had been raising light in this position when a bunch of people limped). Flop comes Ah 10h 6c. Both players check, and i bet 80$ into a pot of about 140$. The preflop raiser makes it 240$ to go. Its folded to me, he has 270$ behind, i don't think his hand is very strong and if i shoved here, he would have to put me on an ace. So i put him all in, and he snap called. Turn was 8, river J. He showed 88. I had the right idea, i was just wrong thinking that this player would fold an under pair.
I raise in middle position with 88 and i get re raised from a pretty tight player on the button to 65$. I'm the only caller. Flop comes Q 7 4. I check, he checks. Turn comes Q. At this point i think he has AK, so i bet out 70$, i think 70 is good enough to make AK fold. But the player calls. Now i'm pretty sure the player has JJ or 10 10. Now i gave up on the pot. But the River is a bonus, its an 8. Now i want to bet something JJ can call. The pot is about 280$, so i decide 200$ is a good bet that makes it look like a bluff. And he calls with Jacks.
This is the biggest hand of the week for me. UTG raises to 10$ blind, late position raiser makes it 50$ to go. I'm getting ready to raise it on the button with Kd Ks when i see the guy in SB raising it to 150. I know he has a pretty big hand. So i just flat call the 50$ and the SB is all confused and the way he acts, i'm pretty sure he has Q's. The BB is a complete donk, and shoves with low to middle pairs. He has 2500$ and i have 1000 and so does the SB. The BB goes all in, the initial raiser folds and i call, the SB calls also and shows QQ. The other player still has his hand face down. The flop is 4h 6d 7d, turn 8d. At this point, the donk is all excited and looks like he's really happy, so i'm a little worried. The River is a Kc and the guy screens, "fuck" out loud and since i know i beat Q's i won the pot. The pot is just over 3000$. That donk was the main reason we were all still playing this game. So for about 45 secondes he walks around and like gets back into his seat and turns over his hand saying he had a set of 6's. But then he shows his hand, and he has 5 5. The 5's are good for a straight, and he screams out ... Straight !!! Everyone at the table just got quiet. The look on peoples faces was priceless. So basically, i got slow rolled for a 3K pot in a 500 max game.
The next night, i played online tournaments all night and ended up winning a shorthanded tournament on Full tilt for over 3700$. Made me finish my week at 800 profit. Not great, but still good after the slowroll.
Going to probably be playing Niagara next weekend and going to Vegas soon. Looking forward to posting more hands.
Until next time ...

Been a while ... TS sunday
I've been playing quite abit lately, really back into the mode of playing tournaments. I've been getting alot more days off from work so i'm spending most of that time playing. I've played Sunday Million on Stars and the Sunday 500K Guar. on Full tilt twice each now. I'm really happy with my results but could of been really good if i win a couple more races. I cashed in 2 of those 4 tournaments. I finished 88th out of like 7000 in SM on stars for about 2K and then last weekend I finished in about 150th in the Full tilt tournament for about 600$.
I also had made 2 other final tables this sunday. In the one tournament, i was playing on Full tilt, a 24+2$ tournament that got a feild of just under 1500. I was playing it at the same time as the 500K and i was playing pretty stardard and getting paid off when i played hands. I fealt in great control late in the tournament. I had a pro 2 seats to my left, Eddy Scharf for the final 2 tables. I didn't know he was a pro until i checked the lobby on the FT, but I knew while playing that he was a super aggresive player. I ended up Doubling up the first hand of the FT with 10 10 vs A J. I'm really happy with the way i played the final table. I finished 3rd for 2800$, but on 2 occasions, i had a chance to be HU with a nice chiplead. 55 made straight against QQ and my 10 10 didn't hold against A 7. I'm really happy with the way i played this tournament. I wish i could stay focused like i was in this one all the time.
My second final table, was in a 30+3$ on stars. The tournament had just under 500 players. At the start, i was running normal, just winning chips constantly. I got my stack up to 14K and lost a huge hand with JJ vs 10 10 when the flop was 8 high just before the break.
I then had 4800 chips and the blinds were starting at 300 - 600. The very first hand, i doubled. Then I stole a huge pot where there was a min raise, and 3 people called the min raise. I had A Q and shoved my 9K in there and took it down. Then i started running so good. Within 19 minutes, i went from 100th out of 110 to 1 out 85. I was the chipleader by 15K. I just ran like a god. I did not lose a race for the rest of the tournament. Worst part is, if i got a PP all in pre in a race situation, i was flopping my set 100%. I'm not even kidding about the 100%. I got into like 6 races with PP, hit the set all 6 times. Anyways, i made it to the FT with a good chip stack. I think i was second in chips, but it didn't take long to get the chiplead. I ended up winning one of the more retarted hands i've ever played. I called an all in with 7 3 off out of spite and the guy had 10 10, i caught trip 3's nad he missed his flush draw. Then for some odd reason, i missed an open ended straight flush draw on the flop to the eventual winner. I lost to him HU. Was still good for 2200$.
That was a succesful Sunday night of poker. I really love sundays now. Last 3 sundays that i've played, i've been a big winner. 5K win, 2K win, 5K win. Can't complain.
As for been a while .... i'm going back to TS to play some live cash games. Its been a while since i played some live cash and i'm excited but nervous at the same time. I feel like i'm going to be rusty. I'm also going to be playing some tournaments. I think i'm going to play a couple 300$ buy ins and if cash has been good, i'll play the 500$ one. Anyways, really looking forward to it, and looking forward to posting some hands on here.
Wish me luck ...

Double FT night at Rigged IP aka AK301
Well, i haven't posted in a little while now. Thats pretty much because i haven't been playing much, and the little that i've been playing hasn't been very good. I maybe cashed a couple times in the last few weeks until Sunday night where i cashed 4 out 6 tournaments I played. I also managed to make 2 FT's out of those 6 tournaments.
My first FT was in the 109 on Stars that with about 500 players. I ended up finishing in 6th after running into QQ and AA on the final table. That was good for about 2300$. My second FT was in the 75$ tournament on Full Tilt(screen name : Croupier). I deposited 200$ on Full Tilt on friday night and now have over 3000 in my account. I managed to get 2nd in that tournament. I really played well coming down the stretch. I'm not very good HU, but the player was a little crazy, he kept moving all in all the time. I eventually got it all in with A 9 vs A 2 for most of the chips in play. A flopped straight with a flush draw was the end for me. Still pretty happy, i ended up making about 3300$ in that one. Overall, i pretty good night.
I feel really confident with my game right now. Looking forward to playing some more this week.

I did it ... sorta
I said it was coming, and it sorta came. I played a 30$ +3$ at 5am after work on Sunday night and right from the start, i knew it was going to be a good tournament. I finished 3rd for 1235$.
I started off playing pretty tight. Didn't play a hand for the first rotation and raised the previous hand with AJ suited and folded after a couple re raises behind me.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/214205
I knew that i was either in a coin flip or better and i'm not affraid to gamble with coin flips. I really saw him doing that with an underpair ... that whats i thought he had ... but i was wrong ... lol
Not too long after, i made this call which i really had a good feeling of what theses guys had in this hand. When the BB bet the turn, i really thought he had a flush heart flush draw and it made sense to me that the other player was calling with maybe a spade draw. When the BB bet the river, i knew the draws missed and if the SB had a busted Nut spade draw, he can't call if he has a bigger kicker. Turns out i was wrong again ... LOL, but i did have the best hand. I would have liked him to have Q 10 of hearts .. but i still won the pot. Still happy.

***** This is probably my favorite hand of the tournament. For once my read was right.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/214187
The call shove to the bet, i thought he had exactly 2 overs with the nut flush draw. It was 2000 to call with 4400 in the pot, so i called and my pair held.
Sick hold
I guess thoses are the only hands that i saved. Theres a bunch of other ones and i was really happy with my game. I'm feeling like its really coming around. That cash will keep me going for a while now and hopefully the really big cash is coming soon.
I also wanted to post this hand from a HU i played ... just for you guys.

Getting close ... but not quite there
So things are getting a little better. I'm feeling alot better about my game and i seem to be running better. I made it deep in a 3 tournaments in the last few weeks and I feel like a big cash is coming soon. I did lay off the gambling so much, but i'm still a little crazy. (Everytime Fishbones looks over to my screen i'm raising with 9 7 suited or re-raising with QJ on a 10 10 8 flop.) But i'm picking my spots, and making those moves based on reads or ... based on me feeling like i wanna make a move and showing it(JK ... LOL)
I guess all i really wanted to say was that everything is better and that i'm not really making anything right now, just been staying even. The big win is coming soon, i can feel it.
Wish me luck ...

I played about 15 tournaments, i think i cashed in about 2 or 3 tournaments. Didn't go deep in anything. I know i played pretty bad this week. I kept on making alot of bad decision and gambling a little too much. I'm dedicated to playing alot better this week and going to try to make a couple FT's.
Wish me luck.

2 FT's in 3 Tournaments on Wednesday night
I played 3 tournaments on wednesday night. A 33$, 11$ with 2500$ added and the 77$ 6 handed (3K in chips) I finished like 150th in the 30$, pretty much never had anything going. The other 2 tournaments I made the Final Table. I finished 5th in the 77$. I lost a couple pots on the FT when the guy was all in and i had him dominated and thats what cost me. I busted when i thought K high was good after i made a pretty big raise, and the guy had a PP that was bigger then my kicker(he had 66 ... LOL).
In the other tournament, i got to HU. Once we got HU i decided that even though i had 1.6 Million and the guy had 700K, that i didn't want to play for 1800$ when second was 1750. So i decided to ask him to make a deal, so making 1rst worth 3000$ even and second would be just under 2300$. Making it a 700$ HU match. I've been struggling HU lately and i thought this would take a little pressure off.
This is when i made the biggest misclick or typo of my life. The blinds were 15-30K and i wanted to raise to 75K but raised to 750K. The other guy thought the money part of the tournament was over, so he thought he had won 2.3K and i had won 3K and that we were only playing for TLB points. He snap called with A 7. I had 9 6 suited so yah, i wouldn't have called his all in. Then he was shoving everyhand and asked me why i was folding. Anyways, i shoved my 650K with A 10 because he was calling with any2 cards because i didn't want to tell him he was playing for 700$, i wanted to take advantage because of that. He called with 22 and it held. GG. I think it took 7 hands for the HU match to finish.
Maybe next time ...

MTT's and Playing with Marcel Luske
Hey, so i'm back from Europe and i've played about 10 - 12 tournaments and cashed in 3 or 4. I got one good finish in the 20$ Deep stack with 200 peoples. I didn't play taht great in the HU and made a bad call that made me crippled. I finished 2nd for 800$. Its not bad but not great. I had a 3 tournament run where i was chipleader for most of the tournament, i got 15th in 10R, 2nd in 20DS and 19th in 30$ - 5K G.
I haven't played cash since Amsterdam. I played there and after playing for about 1 hour on the first night, who else but Marcel Luske comes and sit's next to me at the 5 - 5 NL(in Euros). There was this donk at the table taht said he lost 7 millions Euros in the last 3 years playing poker, and after playing with him for 1 hour, i believed him.(I went tap on my first buy in and he was asking me to come back becasue he thought i was a donk ... lol) He doubled me up after i went to get more money.
The donk raises to 30 from early position, Luske calls, i got Qd Qs on the button and make it 110$ to go and i have 255$ behind. They both call. Pot is about 340 Euros. The flop comes 10h 8h 5h. Great, i have no heart, the Donk bets 300 Euros(he would always shove on flops. Luske took out the 300 and then asked how much i had, when i said i had 250, he decided to fold, i assume because he thought i had him beat but he thought he had the donk beat. I called, Turn was 2d and river was 10s. He shows As 8s for a pair or 8's.
The next night, this was the highlight hand of the night. I got crippled and had to reload after i had 8 3 in the BB and flop was A 3 3 only to see hearts come and folded. Marcel Luske was again at the table and we chated for about 45 minutes. We actually talked about Myst abit. He really didn't say much and didn't seem to remember him at first. I'm not sure if he did know who he was, seemed like he just said yes and didn't really remember him. Was cool, we talked about his recent tournaments (he told me Bad beat stories and for some reason i enjoyed listening to them ... lol)
This is the big hand of my second night. I raise to 20$ late position with 9c 9d, button calls and BB calls. Flop comes Kh 9h 5c. I just lost abit the pot before and i'm down to 235 Euros. First player checks, i bet 30, button insta calls, BB raises to 80. The guy on the button was a station and i didnt think if i shoved that he would fold his FD so i decided to just call, if a heart comes on turn, i can get away from it. He calls behind. Turn is 10s. Also when i called the 50 more, i knew that if no Heart came on turn, that the check raiser would fire again for sure and i would get my chips in ahead.(This guy was a pro and i was pretty sure he would have raised pre with KK and wouldn't check raise with 10 10 on the flop. He bet out 110, i shoved for 155 and the other guy insta called called and BB called also. So now i just want the board to pair. River is a nice 6h. The pro in the BB checks, Donk shoves for 300 euros. I'm like FUCK .... the pro folds and the guy says, "i got nothing" he shows 8 5. LOL
That was pretty much it.

WIN in 25K Guar. on PS
Well, if you don't know already, i got some great news. I took down the 25K Guarantee in Stars. Its a 55$ buy-in freeze out and its gave me 10K for first place. I'm currently reading through my HH from the whole tourney and i'm going to try to post the interesting hands.
Well, i started off by getting a nice pot early. This was the second hand of the tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173691
I got pretty lucky, but i think i played it pretty good. I wasn't sure what he had, but i thought i had the best hand.
This is another hand that was pretty early, and put me on defence right away.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173692
I really had no idea what this guy had, but for some reason i put him on nothing. A total bluff because i thought he played the hand a little weird. After you check it out, i understand. I thought he could either have nothing, maybe a 5 and the kicker could be playing on the board. I never really thought of that hand. All in all, bad call, but if you don't make those calls, you will never be right. Thats how i see it.
Then I just got chiped away calling to see flops or making raises and hitting nothing or maybe hitting and getting no action.
This is where i start,
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173696
Next hand i played ...
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173697
Then i went on a run where i would steal about 2 sets a blinds per rotation. I would almost always get called by one of the blinds and i would follow up bet the flop and they would always fold.
Then there was this hand where the guy had raised my BB the last 3 - 4 rotations, and decided to take a stand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173700
The usual check-raise of the follow up bet. Worked out pretty good. This is really where i started to gain momentum. He claimed to have folded QQ .... Nice fold sir
This seems like an easy call when you look at it(apparently) but i don't think it was that easy. Had to put alot of my chips in there.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173367
I liked this one(J7 have seen this one already)
This hand i got a little cocky, i thought he might be floating. He was a very creative player and very aggresive, i figured that if he had an Ace he would have raised me when i bet in the first place.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173702
This hand was the 2 hands after the last one posted, next after i raised with 77 and showed after everyone folded. I thought i was racing and fealt pretty good that the player would fold his hand after i shove after the other all in.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173703
Like Frank said : Sick Hold
This is probably the hand of the tournament for me.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173403
This put me average chip stack to one of the leaders. I had been playing next to this guy for a little while now and i just really didn't think he would play an Ace like that. I just put him on the draw and called. Fealt even better when he missed.
Then i went into Fishbones11 mode, stealing blinds like crazy.
This is one of the only hand all tournament that i got in behind. Pre or on flop.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173706
The very next hand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173707
Couple hands later, i finally got him. He had shoved on 3 or 4 other times when i raised pre with decent hands like Ah 9h in position and stuff like that. This time i wasn't folding. I had to double him up. Man i'm really off, so this is another one i was behind.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173714
This all in just didn't make any sense to me. He just really wanted me to fold, and thats what his bet told me. If he had AA or AK or KQ, i'm pretty sure he would want a call.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173716
Then I picked up a 15K pot with KK vs 99. I raised he shoved.
According to this hand, i'm a tournament donk and thats why i don't make money playing tournaments !!!
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173717
Ok so another hand where i was behind. I consider it a flip.
And i Quote

I was pretty mad about this hand. I don’t like the play there after the guy shoves UTG. I’m happy that I didn’t raise a lot and that I could get away from the hand. Even though we see the A on the river, I don’t know if it would have been there if I called.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174925
This was a really big hand. This really put me back in good shape and I was really nervous about the turn. For a moment I thought the straight was good, but thank god for the 6 of hearts.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174926
This hand I was getting just a little bit under 2 to 1 but I think it’s the point in the tournament where you need to race and you need to win races. I thought my hand was in good shape, was really just afraid of bigger pair. Was in better shape then I expected, and it held.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174931
Then I got involded in this hand and I really thought the guy was just trying to steal my big blind, and I knew I was ahead of a good number of hands that he would raise with and wouldn’t be willing to put his tournament at stake. Overall, not too unhappy about the play.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174933
Then I did a couple re-steals. It worked out pretty good because I never got called. I had above average hands and a one of the times the guy was getting 2 to 1. I’m thankful he was on a total steal. On the first one I also showed the 99 and I think that helped my other steals. I stole the very next hand with 77 and if I was watching, I would expect the second hand to be better if the guy showed the 99.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/1749339
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174940
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174942
This hand I’m getting 2 to 1 and the guy has like 6 BB. I got 8K invested, I’m calling 100% of the time.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174944
Big fold I think. I think he’s raising with a lot of hands, but I think the most common that he’s raising with here is AK. That’s why I fold. Plus I don’t need to race for all my stack at this point.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174947
This hand, I raised and short stack shoves for the rest, getting 3 to 1, auto call.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174948
This is kinda a weird one, for some reason, I thought the guy had about 100K in chips but really had 130K. He raised to steal the blinds and I thought I would re-steal, trying to leave him with only about 25K. I just wanted him to know that he would have to put all his chips in and that I didn’t mind making the play to put him all in with Q 8. Most of the time its 60 40 in that spot and he could also have a small PP that would work out for me. Flop came perfect and of course I make him think he can take it down.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174951
The very next hand works out awesome too. He just saw me make the same move and I do exactly the same thing. My JJ holds just like the Pros.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174957
WE are now at the Final Table and I just picked up the chip lead.
This hand I lost a lot of chips. I don’t think I played it bad, I guess I got a little too aggressive trying to steal blinds. I tonned it down a little bit after this, tried to establish a tighter image.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174962
I stole some blinds with above average hands and showed a couple. I think I showed an A Q and 99. Just to get more respect.
Wasn’t very happy with the way I played this hand. I called on the river, just because I thought he either had nothing or everything. If he has nothing, I really have complete control of the tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174965
Theres a lot more hands where I stole the blinds with any 2 cards after I noticed that no1 was ever shoving all in to raises. That meant that no matter what, I was stealing the blinds most of the time, and other times, I was playing the flops in position, that aloud me to try to steal again. Like this :
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174969
This guy totally overbet to steal the blinds, and I thought I had the best hand. I just called to see the flop and then let him do his thing. I think if I shove pre, he’s calling with a lot of hands. I think if an Ace of King comes, I will be able to get away from it if he shoves like he did.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174972
Sorry Guys
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174973
Here are a couple hands where I put the short stack all in with decent hands when we are down to 4 handed.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174975
This hand, I hit a pair, and I thought the guy was maybe pulling a stop and go, It made a lot of sense, he probably was going to shove with a lot of different flops there. I got lucky though.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174976
More re-steals with medium hands to put the short stack all in. 3 handed now.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174977
This hand, I just called to see a flop. I just think I can outplay him if I feel the spot is right. I called the turn because I have a straight draw, his check on the river kinda tells me he was just trying to steal it with that smallish bet and that the pot is there for the taking. Even if he has some kind of pair, he might be folding a lot of them since I called with the Q came.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174978
Ummmm … no comment … speaks for itself
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174979
This one had over pair written all over it. I was playing this part with Eric aka Crags and we both thought I played it perfect and lost minimum. I honestly fealt I was beat after he re-min raised but I had to call for a 10. Then I bet just to get a cheap river. Everything worked out except winning the pot part.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174980
This was just a follow up bet. We didn’t know it yet, but this guy had it for sure, it was his only move. ALL IN when he has something.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174981
Another re steal
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174982
I thought I had him here. Still a good pot
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174985
I had a bunch of hands with Follow up bets that I just bet out with nothing and people were folding almost everytime.
Stealing and getting lucky
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174986
As you guys can see, I was a card rack for this tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174987
This hand, I think the turn was horrible, but know I think I was probably beat the whole way, even if the ace doesn’t come.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174988
This hand here I took a shot that this guy was a donk and tried to take it down right there, even though the pot wasn’t that big. I guess I could have bet like 300K and he might have called, but I thought he would call and I would take it down right there.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174991
I started to figure out with this hand that this guy only bets when he has it.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174992
Examples of how it was heads up. This guy would never raise preflop unless it was all in. He would only bet when he had it and was probably the easiest HU I have ever played in my life. Easiest meaning that I pretty much knew he had nothing and knew I could bet him out. There s a couple interesting hands … I’ll post a couple.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174994
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174996
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174997
This is how confident I was that this guy didn’t bluff and let me take down so many pots with nothing,
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174998
This hand, even after Eric told me not to, I just had a strong feeling that he wasn’t strong enough to call a big bet on the river. Took it down and was a big pot.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174999
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175000
This was a big hand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175001
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175003
This is a huge hand that really turned the match around.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175005
This is a big hand that brought me back in the match. Was worth the minimum bet on the flop.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175007
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175010
I think this was a good fold.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175011
And the final hand. He had been shoving pre flop a lot when I just limped, and I was hopping this was one of those times. It worked and it held. SHIP IT.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175013
That’s all, let me know what you think, if theres any hands that you wanna talk about.

And the final hand. He had been shoving pre flop a lot when I just limped, and I was hopping this was one of those times. It worked and it held. SHIP IT.

Just frustrating …
I haven’t been playing that much compared to the last few weeks. I guess the Wii is really making me play less. Now when I play, I usually play a couple tourneys during the night. Lately it seems I do really good when I just play one tournament at a time. Twice this week that I decided to play a tourney without doing anything else, and in both of these tourneys I was chip leader for a couple hours. Then once I make the money, I start running bad and finish before the FT. I did that in the 55$ 1R 1A on Monday night and did that in a 33$ on Tuesday night. So that’s 3 tournaments in the last 2 weeks that I had the chip lead for about 2 - 3 hours. I feel really confident at accumulating chips right now, I couldn’t feel better and more confident about my game. I’m just frustrated with the finishes, if I make money, nearly nothing.
I played a couple cash games this week. I went to Renfrew for the 100$ deep stack tournament. I started off pretty good, doubled up pretty early and got my stack up to about 35 000 (start with 10 000) within the first 2 hours. I lost a big chunk of my stack when I my read was that the player was scared and that he had AK or AQ on a J 10 4 board. I check raised him all in and he called with AJ. I played a couple more pots, but never really hit anything and lost. I ended up all in with about 10 BB’s with A8 vs KQ. Q on flop, GG. I played the cash games afterwards and did pretty good for a 1 – 2 NL game. I made 560$ in the cash game. I got the biggest cooler of my life. I got KK, flop is 6 6 4, turn K river 3. The guy had 66. Obv, I doubled him up. Fishbones says I’m a luck box only because the one time I play 1–2 and not 5-5, I get the worst beat of my life, only cost me 100$ instead of probably 1000$ in the 5-5 game. I lost 800$ in cash game on Sunday night. In 2 big pots, people caught a 2 outter, one of them hit a gut shot and the other was calling with bottom pair, and caught 2 pair on the river with 4 2 to beat my 1 pair with flush draw on the flop. Overall, i'm pretty happy with my week, hopefully i can get back on track in cash games and get a good finish in a tourney.

Feeling good
So I’ve been playing quite abit and i just feel like i’m getting better everyday. I feel really confident in the early stages of the tournament and feel I can really accumulate chips. I’m getting good reads on people when I think they’re trying to steal from me. I’ve also really started just playing poker when I play MTT’s. The only distraction I might have is hockey but I only play one tourney when hockey is on so I still have some kind of idea how my table is.
Last few night I went pretty deep in the 27$ tourney at 8pm. Last night I was chipleader from about the end of the first hour up until we were down to maybe 50 peoples. I maybe played a hand a little too aggressive. I raised to steal blinds with 7 6 in middle position (been pretty much running over the table). The SB calls and BB folds. Flop came 6 5 2. He checked, I bet 10K, he raised me to 30K. I just really thought this guy had like K Q and was trying to take it from me because he thought I missed the flop. So I put him all in for 45K more. He had 80K at the start of the hand and I had 130K. He timebanked and finally called with 99. I guess it was an interesting way to play 99. Kinda wished I would have flat called the flop if the turn was the same, turn was A. And I’m pretty sure I would have put him in if he checked and knowing what I know now, he would have folded. I ended up finishing 27th. Went out against that same guy, he raised and I shoved with AK. He had KK, gg. He also took a huge pot early in the tourney, I had 60K and was big chip leader and he had 20K. I was on the button and raised with A 10 suited, and he re raise in SB, I put him in for 14.5K more and he called with 88. 10 on flop 8 on turn … would have been at 80K and 2nd in chips was at 30K. The worst part is, I was back to like 75K in no time. At one point I was at 132K and 2nd was at 90K. Rough way to end it but I’ll be back.
For live games, I played one session this week and finished up 780$. I missed one big draw when I had Ks 3s and the flop was 8s 5s 3h. I just check called all the way because I thought the players were pretty confident with their hands. I thought I could hit my K or 3 or spade to win, and I was right, player had JJ. He would really have hurt me if I went crazy with the hand.
Theres a couple interesting hands, but I’m just lazy today. I must say that theres some bad bluffs that worked that day. I never got caught, but it was a game where I could really get away with bluffing because players gave me a lot of respect and a lot of pretty tight players that won’t call down a big bet with just top pair.
Bad bluff, I limp with Qc 8c in cut off, button raises to 25 total. 2 peoples called and I called. Flop comes Ah Jh 8s. Checked around to button, he bets 40$, everyone folds to me and I call. Turn comes Ac, I bet out 65$ to find out if he has anything, but I was thinking he had some kind of PP. This is where this is bad, he would most likely expect me to bet if I had an Ace on the flop, but I checked called. He was thinking of raising, he took out chips, but decided to fold his Q’s. We saw the river, river was a Q.
