So i havent played poker in about 5 days now. When im gambling im not much of a drinker, since i dont have gambling right now, im drinking everynight. I dont know what more expensive but all i know is im having a great time with these peoples in Europe. Theres a good mix of different people from alot of different countries.
This whole trip is a good celebration from my big win, and i got myself a little treat, i got myself a Tiger Woods Tag Heuer Watch in Switzerland.
Be back home in 11 days. Looking forward to the tables, but while im here, just gonna enjoy the stay here.

WIN in 25K Guar. on PS
Well, if you don't know already, i got some great news. I took down the 25K Guarantee in Stars. Its a 55$ buy-in freeze out and its gave me 10K for first place. I'm currently reading through my HH from the whole tourney and i'm going to try to post the interesting hands.
Well, i started off by getting a nice pot early. This was the second hand of the tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173691
I got pretty lucky, but i think i played it pretty good. I wasn't sure what he had, but i thought i had the best hand.
This is another hand that was pretty early, and put me on defence right away.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173692
I really had no idea what this guy had, but for some reason i put him on nothing. A total bluff because i thought he played the hand a little weird. After you check it out, i understand. I thought he could either have nothing, maybe a 5 and the kicker could be playing on the board. I never really thought of that hand. All in all, bad call, but if you don't make those calls, you will never be right. Thats how i see it.
Then I just got chiped away calling to see flops or making raises and hitting nothing or maybe hitting and getting no action.
This is where i start,
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173696
Next hand i played ...
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173697
Then i went on a run where i would steal about 2 sets a blinds per rotation. I would almost always get called by one of the blinds and i would follow up bet the flop and they would always fold.
Then there was this hand where the guy had raised my BB the last 3 - 4 rotations, and decided to take a stand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173700
The usual check-raise of the follow up bet. Worked out pretty good. This is really where i started to gain momentum. He claimed to have folded QQ .... Nice fold sir
This seems like an easy call when you look at it(apparently) but i don't think it was that easy. Had to put alot of my chips in there.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173367
I liked this one(J7 have seen this one already)
This hand i got a little cocky, i thought he might be floating. He was a very creative player and very aggresive, i figured that if he had an Ace he would have raised me when i bet in the first place.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173702
This hand was the 2 hands after the last one posted, next after i raised with 77 and showed after everyone folded. I thought i was racing and fealt pretty good that the player would fold his hand after i shove after the other all in.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173703
Like Frank said : Sick Hold
This is probably the hand of the tournament for me.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173403
This put me average chip stack to one of the leaders. I had been playing next to this guy for a little while now and i just really didn't think he would play an Ace like that. I just put him on the draw and called. Fealt even better when he missed.
Then i went into Fishbones11 mode, stealing blinds like crazy.
This is one of the only hand all tournament that i got in behind. Pre or on flop.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173706
The very next hand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173707
Couple hands later, i finally got him. He had shoved on 3 or 4 other times when i raised pre with decent hands like Ah 9h in position and stuff like that. This time i wasn't folding. I had to double him up. Man i'm really off, so this is another one i was behind.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173714
This all in just didn't make any sense to me. He just really wanted me to fold, and thats what his bet told me. If he had AA or AK or KQ, i'm pretty sure he would want a call.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173716
Then I picked up a 15K pot with KK vs 99. I raised he shoved.
According to this hand, i'm a tournament donk and thats why i don't make money playing tournaments !!!
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/173717
Ok so another hand where i was behind. I consider it a flip.
And i Quote

I was pretty mad about this hand. I don’t like the play there after the guy shoves UTG. I’m happy that I didn’t raise a lot and that I could get away from the hand. Even though we see the A on the river, I don’t know if it would have been there if I called.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174925
This was a really big hand. This really put me back in good shape and I was really nervous about the turn. For a moment I thought the straight was good, but thank god for the 6 of hearts.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174926
This hand I was getting just a little bit under 2 to 1 but I think it’s the point in the tournament where you need to race and you need to win races. I thought my hand was in good shape, was really just afraid of bigger pair. Was in better shape then I expected, and it held.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174931
Then I got involded in this hand and I really thought the guy was just trying to steal my big blind, and I knew I was ahead of a good number of hands that he would raise with and wouldn’t be willing to put his tournament at stake. Overall, not too unhappy about the play.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174933
Then I did a couple re-steals. It worked out pretty good because I never got called. I had above average hands and a one of the times the guy was getting 2 to 1. I’m thankful he was on a total steal. On the first one I also showed the 99 and I think that helped my other steals. I stole the very next hand with 77 and if I was watching, I would expect the second hand to be better if the guy showed the 99.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/1749339
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174940
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174942
This hand I’m getting 2 to 1 and the guy has like 6 BB. I got 8K invested, I’m calling 100% of the time.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174944
Big fold I think. I think he’s raising with a lot of hands, but I think the most common that he’s raising with here is AK. That’s why I fold. Plus I don’t need to race for all my stack at this point.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174947
This hand, I raised and short stack shoves for the rest, getting 3 to 1, auto call.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174948
This is kinda a weird one, for some reason, I thought the guy had about 100K in chips but really had 130K. He raised to steal the blinds and I thought I would re-steal, trying to leave him with only about 25K. I just wanted him to know that he would have to put all his chips in and that I didn’t mind making the play to put him all in with Q 8. Most of the time its 60 40 in that spot and he could also have a small PP that would work out for me. Flop came perfect and of course I make him think he can take it down.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174951
The very next hand works out awesome too. He just saw me make the same move and I do exactly the same thing. My JJ holds just like the Pros.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174957
WE are now at the Final Table and I just picked up the chip lead.
This hand I lost a lot of chips. I don’t think I played it bad, I guess I got a little too aggressive trying to steal blinds. I tonned it down a little bit after this, tried to establish a tighter image.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174962
I stole some blinds with above average hands and showed a couple. I think I showed an A Q and 99. Just to get more respect.
Wasn’t very happy with the way I played this hand. I called on the river, just because I thought he either had nothing or everything. If he has nothing, I really have complete control of the tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174965
Theres a lot more hands where I stole the blinds with any 2 cards after I noticed that no1 was ever shoving all in to raises. That meant that no matter what, I was stealing the blinds most of the time, and other times, I was playing the flops in position, that aloud me to try to steal again. Like this :
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174969
This guy totally overbet to steal the blinds, and I thought I had the best hand. I just called to see the flop and then let him do his thing. I think if I shove pre, he’s calling with a lot of hands. I think if an Ace of King comes, I will be able to get away from it if he shoves like he did.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174972
Sorry Guys
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174973
Here are a couple hands where I put the short stack all in with decent hands when we are down to 4 handed.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174975
This hand, I hit a pair, and I thought the guy was maybe pulling a stop and go, It made a lot of sense, he probably was going to shove with a lot of different flops there. I got lucky though.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174976
More re-steals with medium hands to put the short stack all in. 3 handed now.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174977
This hand, I just called to see a flop. I just think I can outplay him if I feel the spot is right. I called the turn because I have a straight draw, his check on the river kinda tells me he was just trying to steal it with that smallish bet and that the pot is there for the taking. Even if he has some kind of pair, he might be folding a lot of them since I called with the Q came.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174978
Ummmm … no comment … speaks for itself
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174979
This one had over pair written all over it. I was playing this part with Eric aka Crags and we both thought I played it perfect and lost minimum. I honestly fealt I was beat after he re-min raised but I had to call for a 10. Then I bet just to get a cheap river. Everything worked out except winning the pot part.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174980
This was just a follow up bet. We didn’t know it yet, but this guy had it for sure, it was his only move. ALL IN when he has something.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174981
Another re steal
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174982
I thought I had him here. Still a good pot
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174985
I had a bunch of hands with Follow up bets that I just bet out with nothing and people were folding almost everytime.
Stealing and getting lucky
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174986
As you guys can see, I was a card rack for this tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174987
This hand, I think the turn was horrible, but know I think I was probably beat the whole way, even if the ace doesn’t come.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174988
This hand here I took a shot that this guy was a donk and tried to take it down right there, even though the pot wasn’t that big. I guess I could have bet like 300K and he might have called, but I thought he would call and I would take it down right there.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174991
I started to figure out with this hand that this guy only bets when he has it.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174992
Examples of how it was heads up. This guy would never raise preflop unless it was all in. He would only bet when he had it and was probably the easiest HU I have ever played in my life. Easiest meaning that I pretty much knew he had nothing and knew I could bet him out. There s a couple interesting hands … I’ll post a couple.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174994
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174996
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174997
This is how confident I was that this guy didn’t bluff and let me take down so many pots with nothing,
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174998
This hand, even after Eric told me not to, I just had a strong feeling that he wasn’t strong enough to call a big bet on the river. Took it down and was a big pot.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/174999
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175000
This was a big hand.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175001
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175003
This is a huge hand that really turned the match around.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175005
This is a big hand that brought me back in the match. Was worth the minimum bet on the flop.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175007
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175010
I think this was a good fold.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175011
And the final hand. He had been shoving pre flop a lot when I just limped, and I was hopping this was one of those times. It worked and it held. SHIP IT.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/175013
That’s all, let me know what you think, if theres any hands that you wanna talk about.

Just frustrating …
I haven’t been playing that much compared to the last few weeks. I guess the Wii is really making me play less. Now when I play, I usually play a couple tourneys during the night. Lately it seems I do really good when I just play one tournament at a time. Twice this week that I decided to play a tourney without doing anything else, and in both of these tourneys I was chip leader for a couple hours. Then once I make the money, I start running bad and finish before the FT. I did that in the 55$ 1R 1A on Monday night and did that in a 33$ on Tuesday night. So that’s 3 tournaments in the last 2 weeks that I had the chip lead for about 2 - 3 hours. I feel really confident at accumulating chips right now, I couldn’t feel better and more confident about my game. I’m just frustrated with the finishes, if I make money, nearly nothing.
I played a couple cash games this week. I went to Renfrew for the 100$ deep stack tournament. I started off pretty good, doubled up pretty early and got my stack up to about 35 000 (start with 10 000) within the first 2 hours. I lost a big chunk of my stack when I my read was that the player was scared and that he had AK or AQ on a J 10 4 board. I check raised him all in and he called with AJ. I played a couple more pots, but never really hit anything and lost. I ended up all in with about 10 BB’s with A8 vs KQ. Q on flop, GG. I played the cash games afterwards and did pretty good for a 1 – 2 NL game. I made 560$ in the cash game. I got the biggest cooler of my life. I got KK, flop is 6 6 4, turn K river 3. The guy had 66. Obv, I doubled him up. Fishbones says I’m a luck box only because the one time I play 1–2 and not 5-5, I get the worst beat of my life, only cost me 100$ instead of probably 1000$ in the 5-5 game. I lost 800$ in cash game on Sunday night. In 2 big pots, people caught a 2 outter, one of them hit a gut shot and the other was calling with bottom pair, and caught 2 pair on the river with 4 2 to beat my 1 pair with flush draw on the flop. Overall, i'm pretty happy with my week, hopefully i can get back on track in cash games and get a good finish in a tourney.

I played a couple cash games this week. I went to Renfrew for the 100$ deep stack tournament. I started off pretty good, doubled up pretty early and got my stack up to about 35 000 (start with 10 000) within the first 2 hours.
